Memory tableThe centerpiece of this table is a rusted chunk of perforated steel. This artifact is from a family farm. The client remembers the steel as a place where their Dad stopped to rest and clean his boots. We took this relic and built a functional table around it. A glass top is perfect for revealing the floating steel. Wood from their old barn is used as shelving below.
A gnarled burl of wood had grown around the steel. This is protected with an acrylic sealer.
Rustic coffee tableThis is an example of true collaboration. The client had the wood, which was distressed and painted, sanded and sealed. We built the heavy duty frame to hold it all together. This table is approx. four feet by four feet.
Hand hammered rivets give the table old world style.
Salina TableMade from the salvaged wood from a demolished building in Salina, Kansas, this study and chunky computer table is ready for use. Metal straps and frame hold it all together. One of the legs holds a pathway to conceal all those pesky cables and cords.
A long skinny table work perfect along the wall. We made the legs to attached to the table deck. Everything is left as is, a fine farm/industrial look.
